Lending Club $25 Bonus

Lending Club’s management contacted me last week about setting a specific promotion through my website. They want to let my readers know that you can get a $25 bonus for signing up as a Lender using this specific promotional link. Here’s what to do:

Go though this Special Lending Club link
Fill in your name, email, password, and make up a user ID.
Verify your identity
Add your bank account and wait them to withdraw an amount less than $1
Wait for a few days, and verify the amount that has been withdrawn.
Deposit $1 to get $25 bonus.
Bonus will show up after the initial deposit.

Currently, Lending Club is charging their borrowers 7.37% to 20.11% interest rate depending on their credit grade. Funding the type of credit grade is all up to you. The greater the risk you want, the greater the reward. Since I like to take very little risk, I have fund all my loans with credit grade of A. Luckily, no default so far on any of my loans.

Lending Club has just gone through with SEC filing, hence new rules must be adhered for new lenders. In order to be a lender, you must reside from the following states:

California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Idaho, Illinois, Louisiana, Minnesota, Mississippi, Montana, New Hampshire, Nevada, New York, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Utah, Virginia, Washington, Wisconsin, West Virginia, and Wyoming.

My experience has been a positive one. I have funded several loans and the return has been good. There is no hard pull on my credit report. My recommendation is to fund your account and try out their lending program. You will get your $25 bonus money with nothing to lose since it’s free money and the average return is 12.32% (The Street).

Select “No I don’t have an account” and fill out the owner information and username/password information. Click “Next”.
Select “Sharebuilder Basic Account” (Don’t select Standard or Advantage as those programs have monthly fees).
Deposit $5 from your checking account, Fund your account with an Electronic funds deposit from savings or checking account .
Make a $5 minimum investment. You must do this on Tuesday since it will only cost you a $4 fee. Make sure you pick the automatic investment, and not real time trade. ($4 is the fee, $1 is the crap stock)
Receive email that you got the promotion.
Wait 4-6 weeks to get your bonus.
